In surprising news surfacing on Saturday, Norwegian sensation Annette “Annette_15” Obrestad signed on to become the newest member of Full Tilt Poker‘s team of Red Pros. Obrestad joins a talented stable of Red Pros that includes female players Cyndy Violette, Amanda “Mandy B” Baker, Svetlana Gromenkova, Esther Rossi, and Beth Shak. On Friday, Obrestad hinted at a “big announcement” on her Twitter account, leaving many to wonder whether she would be switching over to a major online poker site.
Obrestad’s rise to fame began when she was still under the legal age to play online poker. In an exclusive interview with Poker News Daily on Saturday, Obrestad commented, “I am very excited about joining Full Tilt Poker. It’s been my favorite poker rooms for years and I’m proud to be part of such a great group of players.”
Obrestad will be donning her new Full Tilt Poker gear when she arrives in Las Vegas for the 2010 WSOP. The youngster has spent time in Sin City during the Series over the past couple of years, but finally gets her chance to compete for a stateside bracelet in 2010.
“You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for the World Series of Poker,” Obrestad said in an interview with Full Tilt Poker earlier this week. In general, I just feel like they are weaker. Maybe they don’t play enough… maybe they’re not aggressive enough. I don’t know. But yeah, I’ll play it. Why not?

I’m at Bobby’s Room almost every day if she really wants to play’ is what Doyle Brunson, 76, wrote on his twitter when he got to know that Annette Obrestad, 21, had been dissing his style of playing totally in an interview with a poker magazine.
However, it didn’t take long before Doyle realized that his comment wasn’t that nice and therefore he decided to apologize to all women.
So what made Doyle so upset? Real money making games app.
For example, Annette had said that she rather sit at a table with lots of ’Doyle Brunsons’ than online professionals, because they are much faster at processing information and they don’t let their egos stand in the way. I think Brunsons is becoming too ’old’ for poker, see how he’s loosing against Internet players.

And I’ve seen Doyle make a lot of amateurish plays over the years. He’s a great player but sometimes he needs to anticipate and fold earlier in pots when there’s no reason to risk your whole stack. But anyways that makes him unpredictable cause he doesn’t play by nowadays tournament ’standards’.
But anyways we can’t compare, because we see Doyle playing mostly cash games on TV and I don’t think I ever saw her play a deep stack high stakes cash game when you risk a lot more than a tournament BI.. Doyle Brunson himself says he folds AQ if someone raises into him. Go online and if a player gets AQ then every chip goes in the middle.
Doyle, despite being a legend, is old fashioned in his play, and against online players he just can’t compete.
Hellmuth likewise is a great live player, but put him in an online game and he’s no better than your average mid stakes player. He, like Doyle cannot cope with the online game which is so different to live games.
